States of Elevation Campaign
World-renowned athlete Kilian Jornet wanted to have an environmental campaign alongside his self-powered challenge of tagging most of the “fourteeners” in the US. The Kilian Jornet Foundation tapped me for campaign strategy, partnership creation, relationships management, and event design/activation.

2025 | Environmental campaign lead

I designed, organized and led eight events - both running group events with speakers as well as trail restoration days - throughout the course of the campaign. We saw hundreds of people come out for these activations.

Local partner involvement
I created a map of the environmental nonprofits along Kilian’s route, then formed and managed all the relationships with as many as wanted to be involved. Several of them participated in events, co-organized postcard signing campaigns, and even shared their story via social media through reels like this one.
“Keep public lands in public hands” is a call to action we worked with Outdoor Alliance and Runners for Public Lands to raise alongside us during this campaign, an especially poignant message for a US audience to get involved with in the current times.
